Schools Across India Celebrate Patriotism, Leadership and Learning

Schools across India are combining celebrations with opportunities for students to learn, lead and contribute to their communities.

At St. Andrew’s World School, Gurugram, Class 10 student Vaanya Sangwan shared a thoughtful message encouraging Indians to dedicate time to serving the nation, helping communities and contributing through meaningful actions.

In Ludhiana, Maharana Pratap Vidya Mandir organised a patriotic cycle rally. Students rode through nearby areas carrying the national tricolour and spreading messages of unity, fitness and love for the country. The school also celebrated Teej through cultural performances.

Meanwhile, Lohia International School, Chandigarh, marked Independence Day with patriotic dances, skits and cultural performances by students. The celebration also focused on encouraging young learners to become responsible citizens and contribute to the country’s development.

At NK Bagrodia Public School, Rohini, newly elected student leaders formally took charge during the annual investiture ceremony. The students pledged to carry out their responsibilities with integrity, discipline and dedication, highlighting the importance of leadership among young learners.

Adding another dimension to student development, St. Joseph’s Convent School, Greater Faridabad, organised an inter-class chess competition. Students from different classes participated in boys’ and girls’ categories, developing strategic thinking, concentration, discipline and sportsmanship through the game.
